Grow by collecting energy — big pilots carry multiple counter-rotating rings. Enemy hits crack your core's integrity; at zero you're EXPOSED and the next hit ends you, so break off and let it heal. Raise your shield to pack the orbiters into a wall on your aim — but your rear goes bare, and folding back down leaves you exposed for seconds. Dash punches through a gap in their ring and hits the core harder.
